Aggregator Deployment

Prerequisites

Ubuntu >= 18.04
MYSQL >= 8.0

Dependencies

The aggregators depend on ckb-node / cota-syncer / ckb-indexer，so you must deploy these services firstly.

ckb-node / cota-syncer / ckb-indexer need some time to synchronize the latest block data, please make sure the synchronization is complete before doing the other things.

ckb-node

Run a CKB Testnet Node and Run a CKB Mainnet Node

ckb-node default url：http://localhost:8114

cota-syncer

Create MySQL database whose name is cota_entries
Create check_infos table

Set a specific block number to synchronize which can help you reduce synchronization time

Clone cota-syncer and update configs/config.yaml to type the mysql url and other information.
mode = wild: quick synchronization as soon as possible，mode = normal: synchronization at regular intervals
Goto cota-syncer root directory and run make && bin/syncer

If you are familiar with docker, we recommend deploying with docker, please refer to Dockerfile for details

ckb-indexer

Download ckb-indexer release binary
Run RUST_LOG=info ./ckb-indexer -s /tmp/ckb-indexer-test

ckb-indexer default url：http://localhost:8116

cota-registry-aggregator && cota-aggregator

！！Please DO NOT deploy cota-aggregator and cota-registry-aggregator in one directory ！！

We recommend deploying the two aggregators with docker, please refer to Dockerfile for details

Take the cota-aggregator as an example:
